Special Olympics Florida – The mission of Special Olympics Florida is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

South Florida Parent Center

South Florida Parent Center – Our goal is to improve the quality of life & individual outcomes for persons with disabilities of all ages. This includes the following: Parents of children with disabilities of all ages, Self-Advocates, Adults, Elders, and People at risk & their families. Our services include, but are not limited to: Training on IDEA, and Training, Information & Resources through: Individual Assistance and Community Collaboration & Outreach.

Disability Rights Florida – Disability Rights Florida was founded in 1977 as the statewide designated protection and advocacy system for individuals with disabilities in the State of Florida. Disability Rights Florida is a not-for-profit corporation that has authority and responsibility under eight federal grants. Our services are free and confidential.
